HANDMADE with Washington clay and food safe glazes from a hydrangea leaf out of my garden.

MEASURES about 5½ -6" stem to tip, by 4" at the widest. A medium size spoon rest. I make larger and smaller sizes.

MADE from high fired stoneware clay that is chip resistant. Nicely finished with attention to detail.

Care instructions

Care instructions are included with items. Most pieces are microwave, oven, and dishwasher safe. However, repeatedly placing tableware in the dishwasher may dull or change the glaze over time. Glaze will look nice pretty much forever if washed by hand. Pieces with gold or metallic can not be put in the microwave, and will be noted accordingly. I only use food safe glazes.

Returns

Please remember all of my pottery is handmade and hand painted. There may be small imperfections, which I believe, add to the character of a piece. If you wish to return an item, please do so within 10 days for a refund. Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. Returns should be shipped with insurance for your protection.

This spoon rest is so lovely--truly a work of art. The variations in color are exquisite. I have been looking for a cute spoon rest for years and finally found this one! I generally just need space for 2 smaller utensils, so it is the perfect size. The top is textured and the ribs of the leaf indented, so I'd recommend cleaning right after use to make it easy on yourself. The bottom is unglazed. As a side note, I'm very careful with how I spend my money and found the quality of this to be commensurate with the price and also like that I'm supporting a small business and a craftsperson.

This spoon rest is so pretty! It’s really well made and I love that little added touch of whimsy in my kitchen.

I love my leaf so much. I bought one a while ago and it made me so happy sitting next to the stove as a spoon rest. Then a child dropped and broke it :( I was sad for a long time, so just had to replace it. Now I'm happy again :) Gorgeous and practical. Adds some zen and class to my kitchen :)

This is the third leaf spoon rest I have purchased and it is just as wonderful and unique as the first two I purchased years ago. I love both the functionality and beauty these provide our kitchen. We keep two of these out by the stove for daily constant use in a house that has everyone home for all meals daily. The width of the newest leaf is awesome, because I can even set a wide spatula down and not have it drip on the counter. They are dishwasher safe, but they are easy to quickly handwash and have right back on the counter for the next tasty adventure.
